Pilot your own skidoo on an evening adventure up the mountain after the lifts close, stopping in at a mountain refuge en route.

A dedicated ice racing circuit gives you the chance to try out your drifting skills in the ice karts, or watch one of the many ice rally events held throughout the winter.

Just 10 minutes walk from the chalet is access to the huge Serre Chevalier ski system. Over 250km of pistes cater for all levels, while the endless off piste possibilities are mind blowing - big open faces, powder bowls and epic tree lines can keep you entertained, well, forever really!

Serre Chevalier boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year, but at the same time has some of the best snow records in the whole of the alps in recent years - a perfect combo!

Spa

Several spa and well being centres can be found in Briancon and throughout the valley, helping you unwind after a hard day on the mountain.

Wine Tasting

Sat right on the border, Briancon boasts both local French and Italian wines as well as many locally brewed ales and beers - sample the best in local shops or in the many wine bars and bistros in town.

A large indoor and outdoor pool with waterslides is just 10 mins from the chalet and open all year round.

Les Grandes Bains

If the chalet hot tub doesn't cut it, then you can soak your bones in the natural hot springs in nearby Monetier, with views of the magnificent glaciers of the Ecrins.

Night Skiing

Enjoy a neon lit night ski session at Briancon with pop up bars, music and fireworks on the slopes. Or just sit back and watch it all from the chalet hot tub!

There's also an ice hockey arena - home to the Briancon red devils - one of the best teams in the country! Grab a hotdog and a beer and enjoy one of the many evening matches throughout the winter.

2 cinemas are located in Briancon, often showing English films (non dubbed) in the high season.

Bowling and pizzeria can be found in nearby Chantemerle - with pool tables, air hockey and table football.

Eating Out

Briancon has long been a hub in the region for food and drink, particularly in the old town where you can find traditional mountain food, hearty medieval dishes and haute French cuisine. Wash it all down with some delicious French and Italian wines or one of the many locally brewed mountain ales.
